Juan de Fuca Provincial Park & Port Rernfrew

located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, along the West Coast (Sooke) Highway. This park encompasses several formerly independant Provincial Parks, such as Loss Creek China Beach, and Botanical Beach as well as Other beaches like Sombrio Beach, Mystic Beach. Many of these are represented in this album

The primary role of Juan de Fuca Provincial Park is to protect a highly scenic and unique shoreline area between Sooke and Port Renfrew along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The park encompasses a wide spectrum of natural values from forests to wildlife

Port Renfrew is a lovely village located at the head of the Port San Juan inlet. Port Renfrew lies adjacent to this natural harbour as well as the San Juan River. The other end of the inlet is located on the Strait of Juan de Fuca near its confluence with the Pacific Ocean.
